Non-executive board member and governance advisor with extensive experience at the intersection of international organizations, multilateral frameworks, and corporate accountability. I provide strategic oversight on risk, governance, and compliance in complex and high-risk environments, supporting institutions and boards in navigating legal, operational, and reputational challenges.

TRIAL INTERNATIONAL

Board Member | 2024–Present

TRIAL International is a leading international NGO fighting impunity for international crimes and supporting victims in their pursuit of justice, with operations across Europe and Africa.

Elected by the General Assembly in June 2024, I contribute to the Board’s oversight and strategic direction, with a focus on:

  • Governance, financial performance, and organizational risk oversight
  • Strategic direction and long-term institutional sustainability
  • Accountability frameworks and compliance with international standards

I engage on key areas central to global governance and international accountability, including: corporate accountability, private military and security actors, sexual and gender-based violence, environmental crimes and ecocide, and accountability for international crimes.

MULTINATIONALS OBSERVATORY

Board Member | 2022–2024

Elected by the founding General Assembly in June 2022, I served on the Board of Observatoire des multinationales, an independent investigative media and watchdog analysing corporate power and multinational operations, with a focus on major French companies.

In this role, I contributed to:

  • Governance oversight and strategic positioning on corporate accountability and responsible business conduct
  • Analysis of multinational operations, including risk exposure, and regulatory scrutiny

My approach strengthens institutional resilience, enhances accountability, and supports decision-making in politically sensitive and high-risk environments, including for international organizations and private sector actors operating in complex contexts.

Armed Groups and International Law

Co-Editor | 2023–Present

An academic and policy platform dedicated to analysing the role of armed groups and non-state actors in international law and contemporary conflicts.

In this role, I contribute to:

  • Curating and developing expert analysis on evolving challenges in international humanitarian law and security
  • Shaping discourse on non-state actors, including armed groups, private military actors, and proxy warfare
  • Connecting academic insight with policy and operational debates at international level

My academic engagement strengthens my broader work by ensuring that legal innovation, policy development, and operational practice remain closely aligned.
